Eric Hill

Pitching Instructor

Pitching Instructor Eric Hill grew up in east Tennessee playing baseball for Horace Maynard High School. After graduation, he received a baseball scholarship to Cumberland University. He began his college career at Cumberland and then transferred to Walter State Community College where he continued to play baseball.

The Philadelphia Phillies drafted Eric in 1990. He went on to spend 7 years pitching in the Phillies organization, spending most of his time with the AA Reading Phillies and AAA Scranton Red Barons. During much of his career, Bill Dancy was his manager.

Since retirement, he has remained in contact with several Major League scouts and managers and maintains a working relationship with many college coaches. In addition, He serves as a pitching coach for the Diamond 12U baseball team on which his son, Cam, plays.

Eric is now sharing his knowledge with the next generation of pitchers. He is dedicated to helping today’s athlete find success on the mound. He works well with young, beginning pitchers as well as experienced athletes.
